Boston Marriott Newton

The property itself is older, but they have made a great effort to update and improve the facilities. The grounds were beautiful. The setting was right on the Charles River, with outdoor seating to take advantage of the location. A lovely gazebo and a pond were also located on the large expanse of green space. Near the property was a marina where you could rent watercraft to leisurely paddle the river.

it was a good hotel, nothing more nothing less.

The hotel staff surprised us with cheesecakes and fruit for my and my wife’s anniversary, so curtious, we told them there was a hole in ceiling because we didn’t want to get charged, offered to change our room, we declined but then surprised us with free breakfast coupons. Everyone was so nice. Pool area was very nice and clean, which it was guarded and less wet, but it is a pool area.

manager on duty was exceptionally helpful. she even came up to the room to help with WiFi. what was BEST was that they used cleaning products that did not cause a headache or make me ill. unlike most other Marriotts that seem to use Ecolab products that seem toxic and make me ill, this place was clean and comfortable. thank you!!

River view from our room balcony was nice way to relax over glass of wine at end of the day. Location close to highways 95 and 90 was very convenient for our travels.
